Titled mysteriously as “Yoriichi Type Zero”, episode 2 of the anime series “Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc” continues with Tanjiro’s visit to the secluded and secretive community of weapon makers. Unlike the first episode, which was over 40 minutes long, this one lasts just 24 minutes and is over in a blink!

However, both the plot progression and the short runtime were underwhelming because not much happens, and we don’t get to see some of the other fun characters at all. It’s just Tanjiro getting familiar with a 10-year-old swordsmith and practicing his fighting skills. The title makes you wonder what “Yoriichi Type Zero” is, and viewers get the answer almost immediately in this episode. An interesting historical tidbit is revealed, and things end with an exciting twist. So this one felt more like a filler.
