I read three more books by horror manga master Junji Ito. Uzumaki part 1, 2 & 3.
The series focusses on an obscure weird little town in Japan that is haunted by spirals. The spiral shape consumes, grotesquely distorts and kills people of the town.
The friend who send it to me said how a person who read it couldn’t sleep after reading it. While I didn’t have any sleepless nights, I am even more enamoured by the intense visual work done by Ito and plan on getting my hands on all his work.
In fact, I even sketched a scene from his panel. The first time I have sketched this year!
This is one of the coolest chapters, where the protagonist’s hair gets haunted and turns into hypnotic spirals.
