The Enola Holmes 3 trailer begins with a cute montage of Enola (Millie Bobby Brown) romancing the handsome young Viscount Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge), with the latter proposing marriage to her.
“Yes… I was surprised too,” Enola breaks the fourth wall, as usual, to speak to us, the viewers.
No Enola, we aren’t as surprised as you!
But of course, Enola Holmes 3 isn’t about her marriage or romance, so just after she gets ready to be married, dressed in a beautiful white gown and all, she finds out her brother, the famous detective Sherlock, has been kidnapped.
A brief action-packed sequence shows Sherlock (Henry Cavill) being beaten by unknown goons and it’s Dr. Watson (Himesh Patel) who conveys the bad news to the bride to be. Too bad we don’t see any sign of oldest brother Mycroft though.
So off goes Enola, armed with a gun and dressed in her wedding gown, to solve the mystery of her missing brother!
The official teaser-trailer is cute, fun, and promises another entertaining installment of this detective series for fans who’ve been won over by Millie Bobby Brown as the clever Miss Holmes.
Enola Holmes 3 is set to release on July 1, so mark your calendars!
