“I suspect the truth is we are waiting, all of us, against insurmountable odds, for something extraordinary to happen to us”, you might have stumbled across this quote if you’ve read Khaled Hosseini’s ‘And the Mountains Echoed’. I suspect I have already written about it, but this simple stunning quote comes back to me hauntingly. Especially when I decide to leave things to fate.

Don’t we all think ‘it will get better’ when we are going through rough times. It’s as simple as a lot of people waiting to fall in love, waiting for their supposed soul mate. But what if what we have right now is the most we will ever have? Maybe we just have to make something extraordinary happen from whatever we have. Is it possible? Maybe. Maybe not. But it is still better than waiting forever right?
