“Remember me to one who lives there
She once was a true love of mine
Tell her to make me a cambric shirt
On the side of a hill in the deep forest green
Parsely, sage, rosemary & thyme
Tracing a sparrow on snow-crested ground
Without no seams nor needlework
Blankets and bedclothes a child of the mountains
Then she’ll be a true love of mine
Sleeps unaware of the clarion call”

All I have been doing is listening to this dreamy song for the past one hour or more, lying on my bed, smiling. I got up finally when someone rang our door bell. I am still listening to it in the background, a track I first heard years ago when I saw The Graduate.

Sundays have their way of making you feel extra lazy, even if you are in the middle of a long vacation anyway. So all I wanted to do today was laze around while listening to some slow soothing stuff, that’s when ‘Scarborough Fair’ came to my mind. It’s on repeat since.

And yes, Sound of Silence by those guys is equally lovely, I know, I know 🙂
