Netflix has dropped the XO Kitty Season 3 trailer, and it’s clear that Kitty Covey is still very much pining for the very hot Min Ho. The trailer wastes no time reminding viewers that Kitty’s chaotic love life remains the emotional center of the series, and that senior year at KISS (Korean Independent School of Seoul) is likely to be just as messy as the previous ones.

But the funniest part? The comments section under the XO Kitty Season 3 trailer is full of viewers begging the show not to end Kitty’s story with some “self love” revelation. And honestly, fair enough. Yes girl, we don’t want that either. Get the boy, get the girl, get someone. Lessons about loving yourself can come later in life. Senior year of high school is for dramatic confessions, reckless flirting, and questionable romantic decisions. Leave the soul-searching to ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ style movies and midlife crises.

And if Kitty isn’t going to have an epic senior year romance in XO Kitty Season 3, the least she could do is start something equally entertaining. Maybe a chaotic mukbang YouTube channel from the KISS dorm kitchen? At least that would give us something new.

Oh also, there is no sign of anybody studying in XO Kitty Season 3, even though they’re all in their senior year and should be freaking out over grades and college applications. Kitty does mention something about being confused over college, but it’s clearly not as important as getting Min Ho to ‘define’ what is going on between them.

Min Ho in XO Kitty Season 3

And Min Ho, for his part, seems pretty busy living his best life walking red carpets, soaking up the K-pop spotlight, and generally existing as the son of a global superstar. Yes, in case you forgot, Min Ho’s dad is still a massive celebrity.

Beyond the central will-they-won’t-they tension, the XO Kitty Season 3 trailer doesn’t reveal too many new story beats. However, it does tease what could be a very exciting cameo, Lara Jean, Kitty’s older sister from the beloved To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before films. That alone might be enough to send longtime fans into nostalgic meltdown mode.

Hopefully XO Kitty Season 3 won’t drag out the pining for too long. Viewers will likely be hoping for some relationship drama, or a short-lived honeymoon phase if Kitty and Min Ho finally start dating.

XO Kitty Season 3 streams on Netflix from April 2. Watch the trailer on Youtube.
