This morning the light is pitch black
The lit road with signs confusing
And it’s hard to keep track
Of which way I should be rolling
Even if there’s just one way to go
Legs stand still, mind’s a melee
Ah no, we can’t go with the flow
Appetite lost but feet find a deli
Vibrant colours, food for gods
I draw a chair, then paint pain
Blurred mess, not for applauds
Each breath, each stroke in vain
